Full Moon in Scorpio May 18: Medusa

After having two back to back Full Moons in Libra, this FM in Scorpio is going to be sculpting the light to shine its rays into the crevices where we’ve been afraid to look. This isn’t going to be as dark of a Scorpionic Moon that we’ve had in the past, but it’s definitely going to be confrontational.

Aspects

Sun conjunct Mercury in Taurus- information of Venusian themes coming to light

Sun conjunct Algol- see below

Venus conjunct Uranus- shocking but liberating freedom

The Sun will be conjunct the star Algol (Medua’s head) which is opposing the Moon. If we take a closer look at Medusa we can see her story playing out during this lunation.

Medusa is a symbol representing female rage who ultimately uses her anger as power by being able to turn people into stone. The rage is symbolic of being unable to cope with reality, thus petrifying all things, allows one to escape from a life that is meaningless and devoid of passion.

With the Sun conjunct Mercury in Taurus, there is information regarding our security, finances, material things, and values that will be illuminated. With it opposing Scorpio, it’s not going to be easy to look at.

I cannot help remembering a remark of De Casseres. It was over the wine in Mouquin’s. Said he: “The profoundest instinct in man is to war against the truth; that is, against the Real. He shuns facts from his infancy. His life is a perpetual evasion. Miracle, chimera and to-morrow keep him alive. He lives on fiction and myth. It is the Lie that makes him free. Animals alone are given the privilege of lifting the veil of Isis; men dare not. The animal, awake, has no fictional escape from the Real because he has no imagination. Man, awake, is compelled to seek a perpetual escape into Hope, Belief, Fable, Art, God, Socialism, Immortality, Alcohol, Love. From Medusa-Truth he makes an appeal to Maya-Lie.”

— Jack LondonThe Mutiny of the Elsinore

Medusa might be turning things into stone, creating permanent displays of a moment in time, but afterall stone is beautiful. It’s a reminder of the raw majestic strength and power of life. We may find the truth uncomfortable but we need to think of the truth as statues or stone bricks that support us in creating a life we want to live.

Turn those fears, hurts, wounds, insecurities into stone. Look at them and carve them into something beautiful. Let’s not forget that Pegasus was born from Medusa- a symbol of eternal light, beauty, art, poetry, and goodness.

Full Moon in Libra April 19, 2019: Light Spectrum

The Full Moon in Libra is occurring at 29 degrees Libra which is an anaretic degree, so the push to harmonize and bring together seemingly separate things is at its strongest…not to mention this our second Full Moon in Libra in 2019. The Moon is about to enter the watery depths of zero degrees Scorpio- where the water is murky and black, where we will need to explore these new depths, where light can be located.

The 29th degree of the Moon speaks about an accumulation of energy, or we can say justice since the Moon is in Libra. But what is justice?

The Symbols

The Sabian Symbol for 29 Libra is: Libra 30: Three Mounds of Knowledge on a Philosopher’s Head

This is about getting out of our heads and seeing the bigger picture. It’s about seeing the truth of a situation and there is nothing more truthful than justice (Libra).

The Kozminsky Symbol for this FM is: 30º Libra: A boy moping over his book in a schoolroom.
Denotes one who will have to wake up else he will be elbowed out of everything by others more vigorous. He is possessed of good mental qualities, is well-mannered and good-natured, but he allows others to take advantage of him, and he will suffer from deceit and unfairness. It is a symbol of Sluggishness.

This symbol is also about taking a step back to blur your eyes so you can truly see what is in front of you. The sluggishness is about a softening of the gaze.

The Aspects

The only major aspect during this FM is the Moon opposition to Uranus. This means we will have a strong need to go it alone and in order for us to bring together the “three mounds of knowledge” – Heaven, Earth, & Man.

The dispositor of the FM is Venus at 28 degrees Pisces. The Sabian Symbol for her is:

Pisces 29: The Light Passing Through A Prism

This is about acknowledging the connection between all things. It’s about understanding the relationship (Libra) between the whole and the parts. It’s about seeing how everything is connected. Venus is just one degree past its exaltation point so it speaks about the light of the universe being found in our heart. We have to appreciate the beauty of inter-connectedness. When we are able to truly see the balance of life “as above so below, as without so within,” miracles happen.

There is a beautiful quote from the book/film ‘Winter’s Tale’ which evokes the energy of this lunation:

Justice can sleep for years and awaken when it is least expected. A miracle is nothing more than dormant justice from another time arriving to compensate those it has cruelly abandoned.”- Winter’s Tale, Mark Halprin

To Conclude…

The Full Moon in Libra is asking us to believe in ourselves and the luminous connections we radiate out of our heart. To believe in yourself is to believe in heaven, earth, and humanity. It’s about believing in love.

Take some time during this Full Moon to think about everything you are connected to. Start with a person who is close to you and map out every person that person knows. Try it with an object, or a place, or something close to your heart. You will see that those things that mean something to you are but beams of love who form connecting prisms of light with every other thing in this world. The scales of justice are a light spectrum, we can only see the entirety of light by coming to a balanced place within our hearts first.

Once again here is another quote from ‘Winter’s Tale.’

“All rivers run full to the sea; those who are apart are brought together; the lost ones are redeemed; the dead come back to life; the perfectly blue days that have begun and ended in golden dimness continue, immobile and accessible; and, when all is perceived in such a way as to obviate time, justice becomes apparent not as something that will be, but something that is.” – Winter’s Tale, Mark Halprin

Full Moon in Libra March 20/21, 2019: Cultivation Restoration

The Full Moon in Libra on March 20/21st is completing a 7 year cycle that began with a New Moon in Aries on March 22, 2012. The Full Moon lasts approximately 3 days, so while it is occurring on the Spring Equinox, it’s energies will be felt until the 22nd.

Flashback

The New Moon in Aries in 2012 was conjunct Uranus in Aries and Mercury was retrograde in Aries squaring Pluto in Capricorn, while Mars was retrograde in Virgo. These themes spoke about a major paradigm shift, a new consciousness emerging, and stepping into a new dimension of being. The Full Moon on the Spring Equinox will be opposing the New Moon in Aries of 2012 asking us to see if we have completed the cycle, to see if the transformation has occurred.

The ruler of the New Moon in Aries was Mars Retrograde in Virgo whose Kozminsky symbol was…

7º Virgo: A man in ceremonial robes, with a circlet about his brow, holding the emblem of life–the Crux ansata–in the air.
Denotes one who finds in the philosophies of the ancient masters the true knowledge of life, whose search for the truth is rewarded, and who, an consequence of his dread of doing wrong, has the power of drawing the greatness of right towards him. It is a symbol of Philosophy.

This symbol spoke about the search for truth and the healing that can happen when spiritual truths are realized.

If we look at the Kozminsky symbol for the ruler of this Full Moon (Venus in Aquarius) it says…

24º Aquarius: A woman neatly attired, with her hand on a tomb, looking sorrowfully on a flower-covered grave.
Denotes a refined person forced to meet sorrow face to face. According to the degree of experience to be learned, so will be the degree of sorrow to be endured. Passion is not apart from this degree, but passion leads to pain, whilst subjugation leads to mastery. It is a symbol of Tribute.

This symbol speaks about the sorrow and sadness we may feel looking back over the last 7 years. We may be feeling resentful or sad about our experiences or lack of progress. What we must remember is that every negative experience is recycled into an upgraded version of itself.

Full Moon in Libra Aspects

Moon quincunx Uranus- the only thing that’s constant is change

Mercury sextile Saturn-weighing the pros and cons

Venus square Mars- detachment vs. attachment

Venus sextile Jupiter-understanding the bigger picture

Mars trine Pluto- standing in the full power of your strengths

The aspects of this lunation are helping us to see the equality of gains and losses, strengths and weaknesses, pleasure and pain, profits and losses, victories and defeats. The last 7 years have allowed us to witness and experience the divine elimination process. What’s being removed from our lives is actually being replaced by the most beautiful expansive things. This is the lesson of Libra- to see the purpose of everything and to respect its place in your life no matter how uncomfortable it may make you feel.

Personal Note

This is a personal Full Moon for me as the New Moon in Aries in 2012 was exactly conjunct my own natal New Moon at 2 degrees Aries. 2012 was the most difficult year of my life. It was the year when I began my dark night of the soul and awakening. I had no sense of direction and purpose and I felt hopeless and lost. Leading up to this Full Moon I have come to understand that all of the struggles I have experienced in the last 7 years made me the person I am today and have led down the most beautifully lit golden path. I have a sense of purpose and direction that I would not have found if I hadn’t have traveled through the back roads. It’s when you take the roads less traveled that you end up in the most unexpected and perfect location.

Robert Wilkinson wrote a beautiful piece about the New Moon in Aries 2012 that explains the energy of the Spring Equinox:

“The next few weeks will continue to bring us rewards to the degree we’ve let go of obsolete things in our life, and we should continue to demonstrate deep compassion and/or understanding, allowing ourselves to be attracted to people and situations that show us our Spiritual group work. There are great rewards and protections to be found in getting clear about the garden we want to cultivate, letting go of old views and understandings, and seeing why we’re making decisions about the past we’re leaving behind…”

The past and present are converging during this auspicious lunation on the Spring Equinox. Let us cultivate the gift of restoration by seeing the gifts and lessons of both the past and present. It’s time to return to our natural landscape of truth.

Full Moon in Virgo February 18, 2019: The Reaping

Moonbeams: Harvesting our karmic lessons, healing our wounds around self-acceptance, and moving forward.

The Full Moon in Virgo will be occuring at the cusp of 1 degree of Virgo. Whenever we have a transit in the first degree of a sign we experience powerful new karmic beginnings. While Full Moon’s are about completion, we must remember that the New Moon in Virgo we had in September had a heavy 9 energy to it…the number of karmic endings. So there seems to be a role reversal between these two lunations. This means that a karmic cycle is completing. What was going on in your life in September 2018? Let’s not forget that in that same month, Chiron went retrograde in Pisces, illuminating the Virgo- Pisces axis.

The Aspects

Moon trine Uranus- breaking free

Mars conjunct Uranus- unleashing the fires

Saturn sextile Neptune- patience, seeing something through

Mercury conjunct Neptune- fact vs. fiction

Venus conjunct Saturn- needing self-love

Virgo is the sign of purity and perfection and the aspects during this FM are cleansing our lives of self-restraint and martyrdom. The day before this FM, Chiron re-entered Aries after being retrograde in Pisces since September. Chiron RX in Pisces was about helping us understand that we cannot wait in the water because life will just pass us by. Self- sacrifice is fine as long as you are whole to begin with. The healing waters of Chiron and Pisces have now been replaced by the purifying fires of Aries. You can read more about this transit here. Also on the day before the FM the Sun entered Pisces, helping us to detach for perspective and Venus conjunct Saturn. This conjunction is about giving up self-crticism in favour of self-trust. So you can see that leading up to the FM we had some cleansing already beginning.

The Reaping

1º Virgo: A traveling pilgrim leaning on his staff, which he holds in his left hand, addressing a small band of men & women.
Denotes one whose early life is threatened by the elements and who will be compelled to endure sufferings, hardships, and trials as an atonement for remote past acts. If his destiny is to live, his destiny is to overcome, and he will be a wise instructor and guide to his fellow-men. It is a symbol of Repaying.

If we look at the Kozminsky symbol for this FM it’s symbol is atonement. This is about paying off karmic debts and finally soothing the past and any regrets or failures we may experienced. I’m expecting many people to make great progress in the Pisces\Virgo ruled areas of their lives during the two weeks the FM is active. If you have been feeling stuck in this axis, prepare to say goodbye to its stagnation.

Virgo rules the harvest because it’s time to reap what we have sown.

I’d also like to mention that the Full Moon is conjunct the royal star Regulus. In many occult rituals the crowning occurs after self-sacrifice has occurred. Expect to wear a crown after all the martyrdom you’ve experienced with Chiron retrograde in Pisces. If you’d like to learn more about this ritual, I’d recommend you watch the horror film ‘Hereditary’ on Netflix which is all about the dark side of the Virgo/Pisces axis.

Full Moon in Taurus October 24, 2018: Plugging in the Power

Moonbeams: Love is coming in ways you would never expect.

The Full Moon in Taurus will see us electrified with some powerful new heart energy. This is not necessarily romantic, but more about feeling deeply fulfilled and inspired in your life.

The Aspects

FM conjunct Uranus- surprises, shocks, expect the unexpected

Venus opposite Uranus- awareness of values transforming

FM opposite Venus- awareness of what you need

Venus sextile Saturn- your desires are realistic

FM trine Saturn- everything is achievable

A New Power Source

With all of the restructuring going on this year, this FM is finally bringing some flashes of insight into why our lives have been rearranging the way that they have. Uranian energy brings those “aha moments” that gifts us with a sense of fun, adventure, and quirkiness. The dispositor of the FM is Venus retrograde in Scorpio which is about redefining our values by ways of purging old feelings around security. A good question to reflect on during this lunation is:

What would make you feel the most comforted and alive (ie; passionate, excited, awakened)? Don’t judge your answer. This is a Uranian FM, so the crazier it seems, the better!

For example; maybe having a new home would bring you a sense of comfort, yet traveling would make you feel alive. This FM in Taurus will help you realize that there is a way to have both at the same time!

Venus is opposing Uranus which is conjunct the FM which is showing that your needs can be met in non-traditional ways. The positive aspects being received by Saturn indicates that our life is being remodeled in order to align with our transforming ideals and desires.

Plugging in the Power

As the final FM during the Leo/Aquarius nodal axis, this lunation is our opportunity to express our biggest dreams no matter how “out there” they may seem. All of the planets are ready to spring into action to help make them a reality. Love is the ultimate power, and with a Taurus Full Moon completing our Leo/Aquarius axis, our heart chakra is fully charged. Get ready, because Uranus is about to plug itself into your heart outlet. Sparks will be flying!

Full Moon in Pisces August 26, 2018: Let’s Go Fly a Kite!

Moonbeams: Let it go!

The first full moon after the triage of eclipses this summer is a beautiful moon with lots of good aspects. Full moons are about completion, integration, consolidation, and results. This moon is in Pisces, bathing us in a cool refreshing glow.

The Aspects- Let’s go fly a kite!

This Full Moon features an Astrological configuration known as a kite, as you can see from the picture down below by the AstrologyKing

This configuration is about learning to fly with the winds of fate. Throughout history, kites have had many different applications, but they were first created for the purpose of sending prayers up to God. Prayers are intentions, and intentions cannot manifest without mental and emotional conviction. This is what full moons illuminate- the opposition of the Sun and Moon- are your efforts co-ordinating with what you believe in your heart?

Sun trine Saturn- consistent efforts

Sun trine Uranus- self realization

Saturn trine Uranus- instituting changes

Moon sextile Saturn- feeling extra protective of your goals

Moon sextile Uranus- intuitive insights

These aspects make it clear that you can ground your dreams into reality only if you consistently believe in them. Lots of shifts happened during the eclipses so this full moon gives us a reprieve from the intensity. Even though there is a lot of Earth energy during this lunation, we still have the opportunity to lighten up, remember, flight always starts on the ground. Sometimes life is like a kite- you have to send up your intentions into the air and let the wind carry them to where they need to go. Use this full moon in Pisces to let go and flow.

Full Moon in Capricorn June 28, 2018: A Golden Compass

Moonbeams: Heaviness & Anxiousness

Lesson to Learn: Stagnation is Preparation

The Aspects

The Moon forms a T-Square with the Sun, Moon, Saturn, & Chiron. We are feeling insecure and afraid. The Moon will be conjunct Saturn making it feel as though we are being weighed down by weights. A trine from Uranus is pushing us to look at our situation from a fresh perspective. New ways of doing things are very likely at this time. Mars has also just gone retrograde in Aquarius which is all about forging ahead with integrity. Being true to yourself without losing your objective.

“Live Your Life by a Compass and Not a Clock”- Stephen Covey

Did you know a compass will always tell you the truth? If you know what direction you need to go in, it will always give you the correct answer. Saturn is the lord of time and his conjunction with the Full Moon can make it feel as though time has stopped moving. We are being given an incredible two weeks from the cosmos to get our bearings before the craziness of July’s two eclipses begin. Great change is always preceded by a period of stagnation. The great thing about this lunation is that we have the supportive influence of Uranus which will help us decide what direction we need to go in. This direction might entail removing some people from your life, or it might entail speaking up for yourself. Whatever it might be, now is the perfect time to take a moment and check in with yourself. The square to Chiron can make us feel depressed, but depression is a deep hurt from something in the past. The trine to Uranus can make us feel anxious, which is a deep longing for something you don’t have. Treat your insecurities and fears as a golden compass that is pointing you towards areas where you need to grow.

“What lies before us and what lies behind us, are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Full Moon in Scorpio April 30, 2018: Under the Cherry Moon

The Scorpio Full Moon will feel like a do or die moment. Scorpio does rule death, so the question to ask yourself during this lunation is “are you killing yourself slowly and softly by not living your life?”

The Moon will be squaring the North Node in Leo which feels as though you are trying to run away from your life. The Lion only camouflages when it’s stealthily watching its prey, but are you hiding out because you are plotting your next move, or are you hiding away because you don’t want to deal with the reality of your current situation? Your situation is the Scorpio ruled area of your chart.

Saturn is sextiling the Moon and trining the Sun suggesting that we need to expose ourselves. Talk to someone about your fears and deepest wants. Saturn is creating a glaze of emotional maturity over this Moon, so getting real with yourself first and then communicating this with someone you trust, will help you to heal.

It seems that every Full Moon this year has been super intense because with our North Node in Leo, 11 universal year, Saturn in Capricorn- along with Pluto & Mars, Chiron transitioning into Aries, & Uranus moving into Taurus- we have been dealing with a lot of bruises to our egos and a strong desire to live an authentic life. There’s a lot of restructuring going on “up there” so it demands more honesty and peserverance on our part.

The Moon’s trine to Neptune will sharpen our intuition and dreams, but she is also sending some clean water to our murky Scorpionic depths. “Trust the process”will never be more heightened than at this Full Moon.

Mars & Pluto are still conjunct so we will feel this strong urge to make some changes, but we’re stuck waiting in the water because what we are sensing is out of reach….for now.

The Full Moon in Scorpio is also called ‘The Pink Moon’ because the flower Phlox is said to bloom around this time of year. Phlox means souls becoming united in flower lore, so use this Full Moon to bring together your voice (Taurus- opposite of Scorpio) with your heart. (Phlox is the flower in the above pic.) The colour pink connects to our heart, so it’s important to open up your heart this week-end and just speak its truth.

There’s a song by Prince called ‘Under the Cherry Moon’ whose lyrics I feel describes the frustration of wanting to move forward but feeling stuck because destiny is not allowing it. The Full Moon will have a cherry hue to it, so I’m convinced Prince knew something……. (btw, Prince died during a pink moon in April 2016, oh and he was a Scorpio rising).

‘Under the Cherry Moon’

Prince & the Revolution

How can I stand to stay where I am?
Poor butterfly who don’t understand
Why can’t I fly away in a special sky?
If I don’t find my destiny soon,
I’ll die in your arms under the cherry moon
I want to live life to the ultimate high
Maybe I’ll die young like heroes die
Maybe I’ll kiss you some wild special way
If nobody kills me or thrills me soon,
I’ll die in your arms under the cherry moon
If that’s alrightLovers like us dear are born to die
If they don’t find us what will we do?
I guess we’ll make love under the cherry moon
I’ll die in your arms under the cherry moon

Full Moon in Libra March 31, 2018: The Weighing of the Heart

This lunation is about bringing together our heart and mind in order to create a perfect equilibrium, worthy of Maat. Maat is an Ancient Egyptian concept of justice. It was believed that social and personal disharmony disrupts the heavens which causes hiccups in the cycle of the seasons, social interactions, the movements of the planets, and truth. Behaviour on Earth directly affects the cosmos. This is a little different from what modern day new age philosophies preach- as above so below. We have resorted to blaming the planets and tricky alignments for chaos on Earth, but perhaps we need to take some responsibility and realize that we are in a symbiotic relationship with the universe. It will respond to our actions, just like we will respond to it.

When a soul was passing through the underworld, its heart would be weighed against the feather of Maat- the feather of justice. The heart contained the soul of the person and the accumulated energies…both good and bad of the person. If the feather was found to be lighter or of equal weight to the feather, it meant the person lived a virtuous life and would prosper in the afterlife. If the heart was found to be heavier than the feather, the heart would be devoured by the lion goddess Ammit and was to be left in the Duat…purgatory.

Your Heart Weighing Ceremony

If we relate this to our Full Moon in Libra, the lesson here is selflessness. Selflessness requires honesty to thy self and the willingness to compromise. To the Ancient Egyptians, a virtuous life meant that the individual used their power for the greater good of the universe, deeply appreciating the delicate balance it had with the heavens and the responsibility to be a good person on Earth.  Are you being a bystander in your own life, surrendering everything to the universe without taking responsibility for your actions? Or are you co-creating with the universe, setting positive intentions, helping others, and honouring your unique self? This time of balance (especially after the equalizing energy of the Spring Equinox) can emphasize our imbalances. Our Leo North Node might have been making you a little too egotistical, or our Aquarius South Node might have been making you too compromising. Ironically, it was the lion goddess who devoured the imbalanced hearts……….too much Leo energy is unvirtuous which means one cannot truly ascend.

This is the first Full Moon after our cosmic equilibrium of the Spring Equinox where a fertile energetic frequency was created. The conditions are still fertile- especially with this Venus ruled Moon. Falling on Easter Sunday, we know that we are celebrating cosmic ascension (Christ, the Solar Deity rose to heaven on this full moon after the Spring Equinox). We can ascend or more practically speaking, evolve and lighten (Libra) up through rooting our actions with a sense of purpose and grace. Libra energy is about moving away from “me consciousness” to “we consciousness.” Ask yourself if what you are doing is motivated for selfish purposes, or are you wanting to help humanity through your actions? Remember, Libra is an air sign which is great for thinking, and coupled with Mercury Retrograde in Aries, the time is perfect for self-reflection. We are also in an 11 universal year which is also forcing you to awaken so you can share your light with the world.

Think of this Libran Full Moon as your own Heart Weighing Ceremony. Are you acting with integrity, or are you acting with ignorance? Will Anubis allow you to ascend? Or will the Leo goddess devour your soul?

The Aspects

Sun & Moon square Mars & Saturn in Capricorn- this aspect is about looking at the bigger picture. We want to move ahead (Mars), but Saturn wants us to plan. This transit will teach you self-awareness which is required for true balance in our relationships with others and the universe.

Moon Trine North Node in Leo- Like the lioness goddess Ammit who devoured the unvirtuous hearts, we too can remove those parts of ourselves that are holding us back. This might require speaking up for yourself or taking a step back depending on if you’ve been too selfish or too selfless.

Full Moon in Virgo March 1st 2018: Separating the Wheat from the Chaff

Moonbeams: Discernment, Materialization, Healing

Major Lesson to be Learned: Being of service to your higher self by grounding its energies into practical reality

Challenge to Overcome: Not wanting to take a hard look at yourself without your rose coloured glasses on.

The Moon will be putting on her spectacles and rolling up her sleeves during this lunation. There are 4 planets in Pisces- Sun, Neptune, Mercury, & Venus which is imbalancing the Virgo Pisces axis to an extreme. Having such a strong conglomerate of Piscean energy will require la luna to put forth some extra efforts and put on her high beams in order to see through the ethereal mist.

Like a Virgo

Virgo is an earthy sign that is methodocial, organized, self sacrificing, and analytical. It’s staring at all this mystical energy plotting how to fix it. On the other hand, Pisces is a sign of mysticism, surrender, dreams, and emotions. It’s staring at Virgo charming and luring it away from a place of rigidity to a place of flow.

Virgo Full Moons are our opportunities to clean up the Virgo ruled area of our lives. We have 1 full moon in this sign every year and every year I usually see a lot of people decluttering, cleaning, organizing, and revamping their lives. This is Virgo’s ‘sacred work.’ Being of service to yourself and humanity through letting go of material fixations and focusing on how you can help others from a place of true sincerity and humility. When a Virgo is able to properly harmonize its Piscean energy, we can see some beautiful practical magic unfold.

Sacred Work involves applying the 3 ways of the Virgo Pisces axis. Here are 3 ways to work with the energies of this moon.

1. Intuition Precision
Have you ever wondered how it is that Virgo’s always seem to know how to plot their next move? As someone with a few Virgo’s in my family, I can honestly say that I have rarely seen them take a misstep. It’s like they can envision exactly how something is going to play out. This is because Virgo’s more than any other sign, trust their intuition. They rely on their hunches and gut feelings as a navigational tool. Being an earth sign, they will follow through on their feelings and take action. It is this precision intuition that will be illuminated for us during this full moon. Trust your instincts and use the Virgo ability to ground those instincts into reality.

2. Making the Mystic Realistic
This actually happens to be my motto and the motto for this blog. Ironically, I started this blog during the Virgo Pisces axis of 2015, so it makes perfect sense. The Virgo Moon is analyzing all of the Pisces energy and is deciding what you can realistically manifest, and what needs to go. For example, you might have been dreaming about having this amazing perfect job, and yet you haven’t taken any practical steps to acquire that job. The Virgo Moon will tell you to hold on to that dream, but to start putting out resumes and do some networking. Or perhaps you have been fantasizing about getting married and starting a family. The Virgo Moon might completely discard this fantasy because you are not in the right place for that and should be focusing on other things in your life right now. Essentially, this full moon will be giving you a reality check in the Virgo Pisces axis area of your life. It’s not about discarding all of your dreams, since Virgo knows that dreams are the architecture of your reality, rather, she wants too ensure that you are healthy and not obsessing over things that are not “serving” you.
1dfa5942925eddf29f10de4be412ad5f
3. Feeling is Healing
This is probably the toughest job for Virgo and one that will be the most uncomfortable during this full moon. Virgo’s are known to be quite cranky and moody and this is because they like to keep all of their emotions stored up inside. They are very afraid of vulnerability and the Piscean void of being open and receptive. Virgo’s will store their pent up feelings inside and these feelings get stored in the sacral chakra- the bowels, intestines, liver, and sexual organs. We know energetically that if you are constipated, or are too regular, or are feeling more depressed and anxious- the above mentioned areas will not be functioning properly due to a build of up of emotions. Remember, Virgo rules the bowels, so it tends to have issues digesting its feelings. With such a heavy emphasis on Pisces energy at this time, we will be feeling extra emotional. You want to be careful that you are not suppressing your emotions, but are finding ways to release them. Go for a walk, do some exercise or yoga, meditate, walk barefoot through the grass, cry, do anything that will help to ground you. Virgo is the sign of the harvest so we have an interesting energetic portal opening up for us at this time. Full Moons wrap up cycles, usually two week cycles, but I would go further back and say this moon is wrapping up what began during our New Moon in Virgo back on September 19, 2017. What did you experience back then? With a harvest moon occuring right before Spring, there is a need to release and discern what is healthy for us and what is making us sick. We all know Virgo is the sign of health and healing, so use this Full Moon to listen to your body.
There has been a lot of hype about this lunation for the simple fact that we have a stellium in Pisces. We cannot discount Pisces energy as being illusory and useless, we have to honour all of its magical gifts by using its Virgo opposition to materialize it. This is why the Full Moon in Virgo is about ‘separating the wheat from the chaff’ the most sacred work there is.
